The latest news in Leeds, England is about the city’s dumbest criminal. You have probably heard about numerous dumb criminals before. In fact, I’ve also written about the dumbest things robbers do or forget to do. But last May 22nd, British authorities have reported on what they call the dumbest criminal in the City of Leeds. He may not have done the worst crimes. In fact, he may have done only minor offenses, but several at that. But what has made him popular is of his doing.
The British man that is being called the dumbest criminal in Leeds today is the 23 year old Andrew Kellett. So why did I say his popularity is his own doing? Well, it’s just that he has posted his crimes on YouTube. For those who are not familiar with this website, it is a video-sharing site where anyone can join and share their videos. So I’m telling you, if you want to find a dumb criminal among many other dumb _____, it’s on YouTube! The power of Internet has done it again. People get too crazy and do all sorts of stuff on the net that they have forgotten that other people are watching.
Andrew Kellet has engaged in numerous activities on YouTube. Apparently, the British authorities found the numerous videos he uploaded on the website. Those videos included several crimes such as illegal racing, taking drugs, and stealing fuel from a gas station. Perhaps there are more unlawful activities he has committed so maybe you too can search YouTube for the said man. The City Council of Leeds reported that there were actually 80 videos on his profile, exposing everything that authorities needed to nail him. According to one of the members of the city council, Les Carter, “Kellett must be in the running to be Leeds’ dumbest criminal. He has handed us the evidence against him on a plate.” So if you were to do something nasty that you don’t want anyone to find out, perhaps posting on YouTube or in any other website is not a good idea.
